How do you choose a Cambridge Checkpoint tutor for my child?＋
A Learning Advisor reads your request and shortlists two or three tutors who have actually taught Cambridge Checkpoint at your child's level. You meet them and choose — there's no pressure and no lock-in.
How are tutors vetted?＋
Five checks before anyone teaches: government-ID identity verification, a subject competency assessment, a demo lesson, two referee checks, and an interview. A police/background check is provided where available, or when we request it. The full process is published in our safety guide.
In person or online?＋
Either, or both. In-person tutoring happens at your home; online lessons run on a meeting link we set up, and for minors they are recorded with your consent.
How do I know lessons are working?＋
After every lesson your tutor records what was covered and how your child is doing, topic by topic. You get a private progress page that updates the same day — measured against your child's own starting point, never against other children.
What if it isn’t working out?＋
Tell your Learning Advisor. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within five working days, and we can rematch you with a different tutor.
